OliveToRun’s “Run Free For Me” May Challenge

2 May

Cori from OliveToRun announced a fun challenge for the month of May. She is asking participants to run “naked” and leave the GPS watch or phone at home as much as possible throughout the month. Each time you Run Free and comment on the challenge page or tweet about it (#runfree4me), you are entered for a chance to win a pair of Brooks Pure Project shoes. How awesome is that?! Yes, please!

What’s really great about it is that it doesn’t have to be every run you do in May. It can be as few or as many times as you want, which means you don’t have to totally miss out if you are training for a race or any other reason that would have you stuck to your tracking device. Flexible and fun!

I am going to try and get in as many naked runs as I can during May, especially after next weekend’s half marathon.

runfreeforme3Interested? Check out Cori’s post about the challenge here for full details and sign up here on Challenge Loop. You can also download the app for your smart phone for easy participation.

Join me and disconnect from the tracking devices and reconnect with your love for running!

Nice idea! I usually run with my phone but don’t look at it often. Mostly a safety thing, but I like knowing how far I went!
